Storekeeper

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our client's team in the logistics sector. In this role, you will contribute to executing product and material handling, ensuring compliance with established policies, and optimizing warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and accept incoming shipments against supplier packing lists, ensuring items are received satisfactorily.
• Complete material fulfillment upon Division request, maintaining high standards of housekeeping in warehouse and shipping/receiving areas.
• Comply with applicable company policies, including personnel and QHSE standards.
• Perform inventory tasks, including inspecting, labeling, receiving, storing, picking, packing, issuing, disposal, and cycle counting.
• Optimize warehouse bin locations to improve efficiency and safety.
• Operate a forklift or other materials handling equipment upon completion of training and certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience in inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Ability to inspect and accept deliveries, ensuring items match the packing list and purchase order.
• Forklift operation certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve inventory issues.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

• Experience with Kitting and Kanban point-of-use replenishment.
• Familiarity with materials management initiatives.
