Summary:
The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for the direct sale and management of RF-SMART products and services to his/her assigned customer target-base. The role responsibilities will include renewal of maintenance agreements/contracts and upselling new software to existing installed customers.   In calling on current customers, the Strategic Account Executive will gain access to decision makers, develop strong relationships, provide information, convey the value proposition of RF-SMART products, quote prices to customers, and shape the engagement strategy for each assigned account.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Establishes a professional, working, and consultative relationship with our customers by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs within their industry 
  • Invests time working with external partners to leverage their relationships
  • Responsible for creating and driving sales pipeline
  • Qualifies opportunities and assesses prospect value
  • Possesses the ability to forecast sales opportunities
  • Maintains knowledge of competitors in order to strategically position products and services
  • Uses pre-sales and other resources to drive and close sales revenue
  • Provides clear communication to all internal departments
  • Participates in company strategy meetings, as required 
  • Timely and accurately updates CRM system
  • Possesses the strong ability to deliver and negotiate contracts to senior levels
  • Orchestrates site visits and customer meetings
  • Develops advocates within accounts who serve as customer references
  • Possesses an earnest interest in providing highest level of customer satisfaction

Education and Experience:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a business field, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years successful proven sales experience meeting/exceeding goals and quotas
  • Software/hardware sales experience preferable
  • Experience with JD Edwards, Microsoft AX/Dynamics, or Oracle Cloud ERP platforms highly desirable
  • Ability to drive the sales process from prospecting through closure
  • Technical acumen with the ability to present and sell technology products in a business context
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, management, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build a comprehensive account strategy
  • Ability to segment customers
  • Ability to drive the sales process from prospect through closure

  • Excellent problem solving ability
  • Ability to learn quickly
