Strategic Pricing Analyst II

Elevate Patient Financial Solutions has an exciting career opportunity available as a Strategic Pricing Analyst II. This position will be remote. The Full-Time schedule for this role will be Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, with flexibility as needed.

Job Summary

The Strategic Pricing Analyst II supports the Revenue Cycle Analytics (RCA) Pricing Analytics team by preparing data and running the Pricing Analytics tool. RCA products help providers improve revenue cycle performance by creating actionable information.

The Strategic Pricing Analyst II works closely with other Pricing Analytics team members to deliver accurate, timely results for RCA clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain working knowledge of the Pricing Analytics product and the department processes used to support RCA clients.
• Assist Strategic Pricing Analysts with contract extraction and modeling.
• Request, process, and prepare monthly data sets for modeling tools in support of RCA product solutions.
• Review and prepare client monthly data files for modeling and quarterly monitoring reports.
• Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques.
• Build, execute, and prepare complex strategic pricing models.
• Conduct web-based presentations to senior hospital leadership.
• Communicate with RCA clients in multiple forums to work on projects and resolve issues accurately and on time.
• Provide timely written and verbal updates on assigned projects, including progress, risks, issues, backlog, and error resolution.
• Assist in basic training of team members.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities.

• Bachelor''s degree in business, healthcare administration, or finance/accounting preferred.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in hospital revenue cycle, gained at a hospital or third-party vendor, or in hospital managed care.
• Extensive knowledge of managed care reimbursement and the hospital chargemaster and revenue cycle.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, with an emphasis on Excel.
• Ability to use a variety of tools to analyze, test, and validate hospital revenue cycle data for RCA products and other health information systems.
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and process analysis skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to make client presentations on data requirements.
• Ability to work independently or in a group on multiple projects, meeting deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Strong judgment, financial acumen, attention to detail, and integrity.
• Occasional travel is required.
• Remote and Hybrid positions require home internet connections that meet the company''s upload and download speed criteria.

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, location, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
