DescriptionThe Street Team serves as the face of Columbus NWSL 2028 in the community-bringing the brand to life, creating memorable first impressions, and helping grow the fanbase from the ground up.This part-time, hourly role is responsible for engaging directly with fans at events, festivals, and grassroots activations while driving data acquisition efforts to build the club's fan database. Street Team Members play a critical role in generating excitement, capturing leads, and turning everyday interactions into lasting fan relationships.Essential Duties & Responsibilities Represent the club at community events, festivals, watch parties, and grassroots activations Create positive, high-energy interactions that introduce new fans to the team and build excitement Serve as a knowledgeable and enthusiastic brand ambassador at all times.Execute field marketing events including street team activations, community appearances, youth soccer outreach, watch parties, and local festivals Actively collect fan information (email, phone number, etc.) through contests, giveaways, and digital sign-ups Educate fans on the benefits of joining the club's database (tickets, events, exclusive content) Ensure all data is captured accurately and in compliance with team guideline.Assist with setup, execution, and breakdown of off-site marketing events and activations Distribute promotional materials, giveaways, and branded items Support interactive elements such as games, photo opportunities, and fan experiencesHelp expand the club's presence throughout the market by engaging with diverse audiences Identify opportunities to organically connect with fans and create memorable moments Provide feedback from the field on fan reactions, trends, and opportunitiesOther duties as assigned Required skills, experience & abilitiesOutgoing, energetic, and comfortable initiating conversations with new people Passion for sports, soccer, and/or live events is strongly preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Reliable transportation to travel to events throughout the market Prior promotional, events, or customer-facing experience is a plus Positive attitude and strong work ethic Natural ability to engage and connect with people Team player who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments Detail-oriented when capturing fan data Pride in representing the brandOpportunities to assist with Columbus Crew grassroots activations & matchday
