An industry leadingmulti-disciplinary team is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer for their Detroit team!
Responsibilities:
Project/Client management
Business development (prepare proposals/administerproject contracts)
Plan/manage design process
Use technical expertise regardinglocal/national building codes/design practices
Supervise staff
Design new building structures, structuralalterations, renovations and additions to existing buildings
Prepare structural assessmentreports
Design/detailing of structure (calculations/computermodeling for steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures)
Manage/coordinate projects
Perform site reviews/constructionadministration services during the construction phase
Ensure designs adhere to QA/QC standards
Attend client meetings
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or CivilEngineering
Master’s degree preferred
8+ years of Structural DesignExperience
PE License preferred
Working knowledge of structuralanalysis/design software (REVIT, RISA 3D, RISA Floor, ADAPT)
Salary iscommensurate with experience.
