Join us. **Job Description** AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer in Indianapolis, IN. **Job Details:** + Complete construction engineering and bridge design + Analyze and design steel and concrete bridges using in-house developed guidelines + Resolve engineering queries related to technical issues and the buildability of structures + Report and record all resolved correspondence for a single source of accurate up to date project information + Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables + Perform quality control reviews and design reviews of calculations and drawings + Perform design calculations on calculation spreadsheets + Prepare technical specifications and provide input for the development of engineering budgets and schedules to meet project requirements + Mentor junior staff on company construction methodologies and company construction quality control systems + Up to 5% domestic travel required **Qualifications** Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field of study and 4 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, Bridge Engineer, Civil Engineer, or in a related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field of study and 2 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, Bridge Engineer, Civil Engineer, or in a related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: 1. Advanced structural analysis software, including SAP2000, ETABS, and RISA 2. AutoCAD, MicroStation, and OpenRoads Designer 3. Finite element analysis 4. Experience with various building materials including steel, concrete, wood, and masonry 5. Building codes, standards, and seismic design principles 6.
