Structural Engineer

Job Title: Structural Engineer
Location: Safford, AZ
Duration: Contract, 6-12 months, possible long-term.
Pay Range: $40-60/hr DOE

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the structural engineering design support and structural inspection of existing mine facilities.
The candidate will be capable of committing to and maintaining to a project timeline.
The ability to document and track project tasks and related design documents is required (strong organizational skills).

Job Requirements:
Minimum BS Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an Accredited Institution.
PE License preferred
5-20 years of engineering experience in an Industrial engineering setting.
Ability to read/interpret specifications and drawings is required.
Brownfield experience is a big plus.
Good interpersonal and customer relations skills are essential.
Full-time onsite role for 6-12 months, then transition to hybrid role based in AZ.
Must be fit-to-work for mine-site environment
Must be a self-starter and have ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and have the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks.
Must be familiar in the use of CAD systems and have PC proficiency using MS office. (ACAD experience is a plus)
Knowledge of applicable codes used for design, machining, fabrication and assembly techniques is also required.
Experience in structural design software; RAM Steel, RISA, STAAD, and FEA tools a plus.
