In the role of Structural Engineer, we''ll count on you to:
Apply structural engineering and detailing techniques
Work on projects that typically include bridge (steel plate girder, and prestress concrete, box culvert, and interchange design for highway projects) and/or transit (elevated and/or underground stations and line structures) projects
Select standard engineering/design procedures, develop structural details using specialized structural design and analysis software, and perform structural load calculations and assist with geometric layout and quantity development
Review, assign work and/or check design calculations, estimates, and specifications produced by junior engineers and EITs
Interface with clients depending on role on the project
Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Master''s degree in Structural Engineering.
A minimum of 5 years'' experience in structural design
Preference is given to local candidates

Required Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
Previous structural engineer experience
Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similar
Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
