Structural Engineer

Job Title: Structural Engineer
Location: Warrendale, PA
Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00
Work Model: Onsite – onsite

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering, design, calculations, analysis, and drawing review related to structural engineering.
• Perform assignments independently, applying professional knowledge in support of a project team.
• Collaborate effectively across disciplines and experience levels.
• Perform calculations for site development, structural steel members, and/or concrete foundations.
• Develop working knowledge of ASCE Codes and Standards, ASTM, and other industry standards.
• Prepare specifications and technical reports requiring minimal review.
• Support and direct designers.
• Perform lead engineer functions, communicate with clients, and develop cost estimates and proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.
• P.E. Certification required.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the engineering field; engineering capabilities, not years of experience alone, determine level classification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Proficiency in STAAD, Concrete and Steel Design.
