    Project Manager


    Location: West Allis, Wisconsin

    Work Arrangement: Onsite

    Travel: Up to 30% throughout North America


    Position Summary

    Blue Bridge People is recruiting a Project Manager for an onsite opportunity in West Allis, Wisconsin.

    The Project Manager is responsible for delivering custom engineered platform systems on schedule and within budget, from the point of sale through installation. This individual will support the complete

    project delivery process through detailed planning, implementation, documentation, coordination, and communication.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    The duties and responsibilities listed below are not all inclusive and may be expanded as necessary.

    • Lead the development of project charters, project plans, and project schedules.

    • Follow internal business processes and established best practices.

    • Facilitate the administration and maintenance of all project documentation.

    • Support project delivery in accordance with established schedules.

    • Lead the development of client deliverables and presentations.

    • Provide active conflict resolution and facilitation for internal employees, clients, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders.

    • Foster positive communication between internal teams, general contractors, city and county permitting and inspection officials, subcontractors, and clients.

    • Make tactical decisions that support the achievement of project goals.

    • Lead small internal teams and client or stakeholder groups during project engagements.

    • Drive high levels of accountable performance internally and externally.

    • Assist in the development and improvement of internal business systems and processes.


    Qualifications

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Industrial Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

    • Minimum of three years of previous project management experience required.

    • Knowledge of the material handling industry is desired.

    • Knowledge of manufacturing processes is highly preferred.

    • Familiarity with project management and collaboration software, including Microsoft Project.

    • Proven success within a high competency, assertive, and sales driven environment.


    General Skills

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are preferred.

    • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

    • Strong time management skills, including the ability to prioritize responsibilities, complete tasks accurately, and maintain attention to detail in a deadline driven environment.

    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

    • Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship building abilities.

    • Ability to make decisions, work independently, establish credibility, and support company priorities.

    • Ability to travel throughout North America up to 30% of the time.


    Language Skills

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, vendors, and other stakeholders. Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of an organization.


    Mathematical Skills

    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, and volume. Ability to apply basic algebraic concepts.


    Reasoning Ability

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, verbal, or diagram form. Ability to address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for the position include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
