Lead commercial growth for an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector pursuing Midwest jobs of 5,000+ tons. Permanent full-time Business Development Manager hire paying $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives, with Midwest travel.

Your mandate

• Develop steel erection relationships with Midwest general contractors and owners
• Orchestrate pursuit strategy for structural packages on projects of 5,000+ tons
• Follow competitor activity, bid windows, and upcoming Midwest work
• Speak for an AISC-certified Michigan erector in client and industry settings
• Travel throughout the Midwest to grow accounts and move deals forward

Profile fit

• Prior business development or sales work in steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction
• Confidence chasing large-tonnage Midwest projects
• Preferred connections with general contractors, fabricators, or owners
• Able and willing to travel the Midwest
• Strong verbal and written skills with a track record of closing
