Job Title: Structural Steel Fabricator
Pay: $24.00–$28.00/hour + DOE
Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00/7:00 AM–2:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP

As a Structural Steel Fabricator, you'll transform blueprints into finished steel assemblies. You'll work closely with a dedicated team to deliver quality results that stand the test of time.

What You'll Do
As a Structural Steel Fabricator, you will be responsible for -
• Laying out, fitting, and fabricating structural steel components and assemblies from start to finish.
• Reading and working from blueprints, weld symbols, and detailed fabrication drawings.
• Measuring, marking, cutting, and fitting materials with accuracy.
• Setting up steel components for precise fit-up and welding.
• Operating grinders, cutting tools, forklifts, overhead cranes, and other shop equipment.
• Moving and positioning heavy steel safely and efficiently.
• Collaborating closely with welders and other team members to keep projects on schedule.
• Performing structural MIG welding when needed.
• Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets all specifications and quality standards.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have -
• Previous experience in structural steel fabrication.
• MIG welding and fit-up expertise.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and detailed drawings.
• Confidence with measurements, layout, calculations, and fabrication math.
• Knowledge of structural steel terminology and fabrication techniques.
• The ability to work independently with accuracy.
• Dependability and good attendance.
• Physical ability to lift 50–75 lbs. and stay active during the shift.
• Demonstrated skill in structural layout and fabrication during the interview process.
