Structural Steel PM - Shop and Field Coordination

A structural steel fabricator near Blue Ash, OH is looking for a seasoned Project Manager to run jobs end to end, from contract award through erection, with tight coordination between the shop and steel erectors.

What the job involves:

• Run fabricated steel projects from award through closeout: scope, schedule, budget, and change orders
• Manage RFIs and submittals, and lead project meetings with general contractors, owners, and erectors
• Work hand in hand with steel erectors on sequencing, deliveries, site logistics, and field issues
• Track billing, costs, and production progress, flagging risks early
• Keep detailers, engineers, and the shop moving on drawings, approvals, and fabrication

What we're looking for:

• 8+ years of project management in structural steel fabrication or steel erection
• Strong communication, scheduling, and cost-control skills
• Experience coordinating with steel erectors and field crews
• Ability to read structural and shop drawings
• Engineering or construction management degree, or equivalent experience, preferred
