Structural Steel Project Manager - Fabrication & Erection

We're hiring a Project Manager for a structural steel fabricator near Mason, OH. You'll own fabrication projects from award through erection and keep the shop, detailers, and steel erectors moving in sync.

Responsibilities:

• Manage fabricated steel projects from contract award through closeout: scope, schedule, budget, and change orders
• Track costs, billing, and production progress, and flag risks early
• Coordinate closely with steel erectors on sequencing, delivery schedules, field issues, and site logistics
• Work with detailers, engineers, and the shop to keep drawings, approvals, and fabrication on track
• Run project meetings with general contractors, owners, and erectors; manage RFIs and submittals

Background:

• 8+ years of project management in structural steel fabrication or steel erection
• Able to read structural and shop drawings
• Proven experience coordinating with steel erectors and field crews
• Strong communication, scheduling, and cost-control skills
• Engineering or construction management degree, or equivalent experience, preferred
