Structural Welder | $30-$34/hour

TradeWorX is hiring 3 experienced Structural Welders for a commercial construction project in Havre de Grace, MD. This opportunity offers $30–$34 per hour, a Monday–Friday schedule, and approximately two months of work beginning November 9, 2026.
Qualified candidates should have hands-on structural steel welding experience, familiarity with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes, and current AWS D1.1 welding qualifications.

TradeWorX focuses on workforce continuity. Qualified employees who successfully complete this assignment may have opportunities to transition to other TradeWorX jobsites as additional projects become available, based on skills, location, and project needs.

Job Duties

• Perform structural steel welding and fabrication on an active commercial construction jobsite.
• Weld structural steel and related components according to project requirements.
• Utilize MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes as required by assigned work.
• Prepare materials and welding surfaces to support quality welds.
• Inspect completed welds for visible defects and workmanship quality.
• Follow established jobsite safety procedures and coordinate with other trades.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of verifiable professional welding experience.
• AWS D1.1 welding certification required.
• Familiarity with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
• Demonstrated experience welding structural steel or comparable structural components.
• Ability to work safely and productively on an active commercial construction site.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred, but not required.
