Job Summary
The Prevention Programming Specialist will assist with planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating theory- and evidence-informed violence prevention strategies and programs. Assist the Director and prevention programming team in developing objectives and activities based on departmental goals, including both short- and long-range education and outreach plans. As part of the prevention programming team, assist in overseeing University-wide outreach efforts and prevention program. Co-lead the units Educational Ambassador Program. Provide confidential support, resources and advocacy for students impacted by interpersonal violence (stalking, relationship violence, sexual exploitation, and sexual violence). Provide crisis response and individual and community based intervention services to the University and provide advocacy through the criminal justice system and judicial process on campus.
