Job Title Student Assistant/Grader-Physics/Geosciences Position Type Student Division Academic Affairs Department Physics & Geosciences Essential Duties

This posting will remain open to generate a pool of qualified student applicants for available positions during the semester.

Student will perform duties in support of the Department of Physics and Geosciences, including but not limited to:

• Grading for Physics or Geoscience Lectures and Labs
• Assist with labs and lab set-up and take-down
• Cleaning of Lab areas and classrooms
• Student must have the ability to communicate & listen effectively
• Student must be dependable & should be energetic
• Student must be professional in dress & manner
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes in Fall 26
• Must have received a grade of "C" or better in the class for which they are grading or helping with

Preferred Qualifications

• STEM major preferred
• Possibly Work Study eligible

Physical Demands

• Walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Be able to push up to 30 lbs.
• Able to lift hands above head
