The program is open to both internal and external applicants. What You'll DoAs a Student Medical Assistant, you will gain valuable hands-on experience while learning alongside an experienced healthcare team. Under the direction of the Director of Clinic Nursing, responsibilities include:Assisting with patient care activities under the supervision of Medical Assistants and NursesParticipating in clinic meetings and skills training sessionsWorking closely with an assigned preceptor to complete required competenciesSuccessfully completing all training and educational requirementsMaintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulationsResponding to and participating in call alertsPerforming other duties as assigned Job/Program RequirementsTo be considered, applicants must:High School Graduate or equivalent.If selected, will be accountable to all Beloit Health System policies and guidelines. If selected, the Student Medical Assistant must apply for and be accepted into the Medical Assistant program of participating partner school.Applicants must be received by 10/31/2026 for consideration.
