Position Announcement

Utah Valley University is seeking a student to provide research and administrative support to the department.

Summary of Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Gathering, compiling, cleaning, and/or entering data.
• Assisting with transcription and/or coding of qualitative data.
• Assisting in programming, coordinating, and conducting survey research, focus groups, and other data collection efforts.
• Cleaning and analyzing data.
• Assisting in producing, cleaning, and analyzing data files.
• Producing summaries of data from data sets.
• Assists with the department's social media posts and digital signs

Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Must be a current UVU student

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good telephone, email, and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Professionalism.
• Organizational skills.
• Computer skills (Internet, Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Good work ethic/self-motivated.
• Ability to be a team player.
• Ability to interact and communicate in person and on the phone with college students
• Willingness to try/learn new things.
• Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and other social media.
