Student Research Assistant

The School of Nursing is seeking a dependable, motivated, and professional Student Research Assistant to support the research activites of Dr. Monica Wagner, PhD, RN, Assistant Professor. and the research team. The student Research Assistant will assist with a variety of research related activites, including data management, literature reviews, research documentation and general laboratory operations that support ongoing research initiaves.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• · Help organize study materials, data files, and lab documentation
• · Assist with basic data entry and quality checks
• · Conduct guided literature searches and create short summaries
• · Support preparation of slides, figures, or simple visuals for dissemination
• · Learn to use introductory data tools (Excel, RStudio, etc.)
• · Attend weekly lab meetings and participate in discussion
• · Contribute to team planning, brainstorming, and problem-solving
• · Assist with small administrative or organizational tasks that keep the lab running smoothly

CompensationL

Hourly Rate: $12.22 -$14.25 per hour, commensurate with experience and university Student Employment guideline.

Current undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing at CWRU Interest in nursing, public health, psychology, medicine, biological sciences, social sciences or a related field preferred.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to maintain confidentialty and handle sensitive information appropiately.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative research team.

Availability to work a flexible part-time schedule
