Student - Social Media & Engagement Assistant

Job Description

• This position must report on-campus and abide by all University safety protocols.
• Primary responsibilities involve:
  • Creating content and fresh ideas for the Student Affairs Instagram account (posts, stories, videos, etc.)
  • Providing support in the further development of Sokannect, the student engagement web and mobile app, as well as assisting in the promotion and visibility of the app among students. May include occasional outreach and tabling.
  • Event support at occasional Student Affairs events.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
• Qualifications
  • Video editing and graphic design skills (for social media), strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, ability to perform with professionalism and excellent customer service
  • Familiarity and experience with Sokannect, Canva, Microsoft Suite, marketing and social media are also desired.

The base salary range for this position is listed above. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, experience and geographic location.
