Position Announcement

Utah Valley University is seeking a student to work under the direction of a lead technician. The student will assist with carpet extraction, furniture moves and installing fixtures.

Summary of Responsibilities

Responsible for a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to:

• Extraction of carpets
• Cleaning of hard floors
• Furniture extraction

Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications

• Must be a current UVU student.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Comfortable on lifts and ladders
• Ability to twist, turn, kneel and crouch for 4 hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and flooring equipment

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Assist with moves, minors repairs, and instillations
• Ability to be on feet, move, bend, and walk for the duration of shift
• Ability to stay on task.
