Student Worker - Athletics James Work Gym

Job Summary: We are looking for a student to join our Athletics Team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily practice laundry (mostly in the evenings)
• Wash and dry and put away gear
• Game day laundry when needed
• Set up and break down gymnasium for Volleyball games
• Set up and break down the gymnasium for Basketball games
• Set up and break down wrestling matches
• Put away game uniforms after wash is done
• Help with basketball field dragging and raking when needed
• Help with women's lacrosse practice set up and breakdown
• Help with meet and greet JV and varsity football officials for home games
• Help out in any area of the athletic department when needed
• Other duties as assigned

Education Employment eligibility:

• Currently enrolled Delaware Valley University student
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide required documentation to verify identity and employment eligibility
• Must include updated resume
• Reliable
• Willing to work evenings and weekends
• Dependable
• Good communication skills

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Outdoor exposure to weather
• May have an alternative work schedule
• May be required to be on call
• Typically standing or walking
• Occasionally lifting
• Typically bending., crouching, stooping
• Occasionally lifting 25 lbs or less
• Frequently lifting 25 lbs or more
