Yes \n \nClassification of the position: Other\n \nDescription: \n \nCampus: Brooklyn\n \nDepartment Name: Clinical Psychology\n \nDepartment's Dean and/or Director: Meredith Kneavel\n \nLocation: Building and Floor: Humanities 8 floor\n \nSupervisor: Name: Kevin Meehan\n \nTitle: Program Director\n \nPurpose or role of the position within the organization (Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities): \n \nSTUDENT WORKER PROGRAM ASSISTANT PHD PSYCHOLOGY\n \nDuties and Principal Responsibilities: \n \nAssist in development and implementation of PhD Program activities and initiatives, including: o PhD Program Admissions o PhD Program Accreditation o PhD Program Research Coordination o PhD Program Administration o PhD Program PEC (Psychology Experience Credits) \u2022 Assist in development and implementation of program surveys. \u2022 Assist in coordination and organization of PhD admissions.\n \nAssist in creation of multiple databases related to APA accreditation. \u2022 Assist faculty and program leadership in multiple administrative aspects of the APA self-study.\n \nAssist faculty and doctoral students in research activities and initiatives, including extramural funding proposals. \u2022 Assist faculty and administrators in maintaining extensive program databases\n \nEducation Requirements: LIU student enrolled in an active degree program\n \nTraining, Skills, Knowledge, Experience: MA degree in clinical psychology or equivalent; ideal candidate is enrolled in doctoral study in clinical psychology\n \nRate of Pay: minimum hourly rate $17 HR \n \nPeriod of employment: Begin Date: 9/2026 End Date: 5/2027\n \nEvaluation procedures and schedules: HOURS PER WEEK: variable; WEEKS PER ACADEMIC YEAR: 40, 6 positions\n \nLIU is an equal opportunity employer.
