Seeking a self-motivated, multi-tasking, well organized, and professional student employee who possesses strong verbal and written communication skills to assist in staffing the Honors College office. The student worker will report to the departmental administrative coordinator and complete tasks like data entry, appointment scheduling, office coverage (answer phones, greeting walk-ins), content creation for newsletter and social media, and assisting with HC-related programs or events as needed.
May work up to 19 hours per week and must be available Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12 pm-5pm. Additional hours available to work based on student availability. Must be willing to work during fall and spring semesters. Potential for summer hours. Must be familiar with and able to use Outlook mail and Outlook calendar, Microsoft Word and Excel. Participation in Honors College preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with answering phone calls & emails, and relaying messages
• Schedule appointments, meetings, and events
• Provide quality customer service
• Maintain documents, files spreadsheets/database
• Input data into documents, forms, spreadsheets/database, website apps, software, etc.
• Prepare space, equipment, materials for programs and events
• Facilitate programs and events
