The Blinn College District is searching for a Student Worker - Student Engagement at our Brenham Campus.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities are listed below:

Job Summary

To assist the Dean of Student Engagement in various departments.

Principal Accountabilities

• Check students in for various services within the Department of Student Engagement
• Assist students with registering for classes in the Department of Academic Advising
• Provide front desk coverage
• Maintain a clean, safe, and functional area and facility
• Greet students, faculty, administrators and campus visitors
• Provide information pertaining to the academic accommodations process
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications/ Required Degree, License or Certifications

• Must be Federal Work Study eligible
• Must be at least a half-time student

Minimum Competencies

• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to provide great customer service
• Ability to treat students, parents, faculty and staff in a courteous manner
• Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.0.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual speaking and written skills
• Experience with MyBlinn and its various functions
• Experiencing navigating eCampus and its various functions

Preferred Competencies

Will be asked to be flexible with location on Brenham campus
