Studio Director

A Los Angeles–based multidisciplinary studio delivering architecture, landscape, and interior design services with a focus on integrated, people-centered spaces and thoughtful adaptive reuse is seeking Studio Director to help them lead architecture and design delivery across projects in California. You’ll bridge firm leadership and project teams, ensuring design vision, quality, coordination, and execution from schematic design through construction.

Your Day Includes

• Lead multiple projects and teams, establishing priorities, schedules, responsibilities, and deliverables.
• Oversee drawings, specifications, permitting, documentation, consultant coordination, and quality.
• Serve as Architect of Record, reviewing work for code, regulatory, professional, and permitting compliance.
• Coordinate structural, MEP, civil, landscape, interiors, and consultants to resolve conflicts.
• Support budgets, staffing, contracts, proposals, construction administration, RFIs, submittals, site visits, and design decisions.

Must Haves

• California-licensed Architect with ability to serve as Architect of Record.
• Significant experience leading projects through design, documentation, permitting, and construction.
• Strong expertise in construction documentation, detailing, building systems, codes, consultant coordination, budgets, schedules, and team leadership.
