CRC is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor to provide counseling, assessments, treatment planning, case coordination, and recovery support to individuals with substance use disorders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
1–2 years of experience in substance abuse, behavioral health, or addictions treatment preferred.
CADC or other state certification preferred; certification eligibility considered.
Strong communication, counseling, documentation, and crisis-intervention skills.
Knowledge of evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
Ability to maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation.
Must be available to work occasional evenings/weekends as needed.

Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans.
Provide individual, group, and family counseling.
Support clients with recovery and relapse prevention.
Coordinate referrals and community resources.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Participate in clinical staffing and team meetings.
