Substance Abuse Technician

Location: Westchester, IL

Facility: Ascension Addiction Services

Department: Addiction Behavioral Health Services

Schedule: Day shift | Part-time 

Salary: $19.22 - $24.60 per hour 

How you'll make an impact in this role:

• Schedule: Monday and Thursday 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm; Tuesday 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm 
• Provide or assist with providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures, and therapeutic interventions on the male unit
• Observe and record patient behavior and activities
• Primary duties are to provide drug testing services under our USPO contract 

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Counselor preferred.
• Counselor specializing in Chemical Dependency preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional requirements you'll need:

• Preferred experience working in substance use disorder outpatient treatment facility
• CADC preferred
