We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Primary Therapist to provide clinical services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. The therapist will be responsible for conducting assessments, facilitating therapy sessions, developing individualized treatment plans, and supporting clients on their journey to recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical staff, case managers, and support staff.
  • Educate clients and families about substance use disorders, coping strategies, and relapse prevention.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with all ethical and legal standards in behavioral health care.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field required.
  • Active Ohio licensure as an LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW, LCDC, or LICDC (or working toward independent licensure).
  • Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders preferred.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities, such as CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a residential or outpatient substance abuse treatment setting.
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations for substance use treatment programs.
Compensation: $70,000.00 per year
