Mountainside School District Beechwood School, 1497 Woodacres Drive, Mountainside, New Jersey 07092 Deerfield School, 302 Central Avenue, Mountainside, New Jersey 07092 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR Posting Date - June 16, 2026 Position: Substitute Custodian(s) Needed - immediate openings Schedule: Monday to Friday, weekends as needed Flexible schedule for day shift (7:30-3:30) or night shift (3:30-12:00) Qualifications: Duties and requirements include but are not limited to the following: Criminal background check required Health Physical required and pass a Mantoux Tuberculin test Cleaning of school building and grounds including classrooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, common areas using proper safety protocols with regard to chemicals and sanitary guidelines Set-up/clean-up furniture and equipment for school activities Ability to take direction, work as a group, or independently, without continual supervision Demonstrates strength and manual dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
