The role includes proper documentation of food temperatures and corrective actions based on the district's HACCP plan and ensures compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal food service standards.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Prepare meals according to provided recipes and follow portion control guidelinesUtilize small-batch cooking techniques to reduce waste and ensure food qualityAccurately maintain production and inventory recordsHandle and manage money in accordance with district policyFollow and enforce sanitation and safety standards as mandated by the Warren County Health DepartmentPerform daily cleaning of kitchen and service areas; participate in major cleaning during staff in-service daysOperate Point of Sale (POS) system, understanding pricing and components of a reimbursable mealMaintain a positive, respectful work environment with coworkers, students, and school staffProvide assistance across the department as needed and fill in during staff absencesExhibit punctuality, reliability, and a readiness to work dailyModel professional and responsible behavior for students and staffParticipate in required professional development and ongoing trainingPerform other duties as assigned by the Food Service SupervisorSalary: $16 per hour Questions?
