The School District of West Salem is seeking qualified individuals who would like the opportunity to become part of our substitute team. This is an on-call position for positions that occur on an infrequent/daily basis throughout the school year.
Job Hours will vary based on building and student need and will only fall on school days between 6am-4pm.
Paraprofessionals assist teachers in specialized areas regarding the care and safety of students. Supervision can be in classrooms, hallways, lunchroom, indoor recess, library, gymnasium, playground and bus loading areas, and assisting on a van or bus. Special Education Para''s also address seizure activity, feeding, toiling, dressing and ambulating students with physical needs. Other duties as assigned.
