Job Title: Substitute Paraprofessionals

Reports To: BuildingPrincipal/ Supervisor, or other administrator if needed

Effective date: 9/1/2026

Salary Range: $ 110.00 per diem (pending negotiations)

Position Summary: The above substitute Paraprofessionals positions are available for the 2026-2027 school year.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED or ParaPro Assessment completed
  • Fingerprinting is required for criminal history background clearance
  • Required physical and drug test offered free of charge

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: See attached Job Description

Technology Skills: Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Frontline Applications, and Student Information System.

Evaluation of Performance: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the New Jersey Administrative Code and Board of Education policy.

Terms of Employment: Per diem pay
