Substitute Teacher for 4K-8th Grade

Washington-Caldwell is a 4K-8th grade school of 200 students. We are looking for people to add to our Substitute list. You will ENJOY working at Washington-Caldwell. Admin and staff support is abundant when needed. You will enjoy EVERY day you are at Washington-Caldwell!

Substitute Teachers must hold a current Teaching Certification from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI). Applicants who do not hold a current DPI license are welcome to apply to this job posting with the intent of obtaining a DPI Three-Year Short-Term Substitute license. The DPI license requirement will be satisfied during the new hire process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess the ability to work effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and the general public.

Must be able to carry out responsibilities in a satisfactory manner.

Follow a plan of study which is consistent with the curriculum adopted by the school district.

Follow a program of study that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.

Follows written plans for each day''s lessons.

Follows procedures needed to accomplish objectives for each lesson.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work would be primarily performed in a classroom environment, which typically includes moderate noise from students and computers. Work would occasionally performed outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
