Hartford Union High School is seeking daily substitute teachers for the 2026-2027 School Year.
A Wisconsin teacher or substitute teacher license is required.
Requirements include:

Applicant must have completed an approved educator preparation program and is eligible to hold a Wisconsin educator license; OR
Applicant has completed an approved educator preparation program outside of Wisconsin and holds an equivalent license from that state.
Applicant must submit evidence that they have successfully completed the district-selected substitute training.
The following are acceptable forms of documentation:
Confirmation letter of successful completion, on district letterhead, including date of completion, signed by an authorized Administrator.
CESA or WEAC Certificate of Completion, including date of completion.

While many area school districts pay a service to provide substitute teachers, HUHS is still utilizing their own substitute teachers to fill our needs. This allows HUHS the ability to pay a higher rate than area schools. HUHS currently pays $135 per day and the opportunity to make up to $165 per day if working 21 days or more in a school year.
