Position: Daily Building Substitute

Location: Head OMeadow Elementary School (grades K-4)

Start Date: August 27, 2026

Duration: 2026-27 school year

Salary Range: $130 per day

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree
  • Enjoy working with students at the elementary level of learning (Grades K-4)
  • Be able to deliver lessons effectively within a variety of settings
  • Be flexible with following directions and supporting diverse learners
  • Have strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times

Responsibilities:

The building Substitute will report to the main office each morning and speak with the secretary regarding their assignment(s) for the day. Assignments may vary day to day and include substitute teaching in regular education, special education, and unified arts classrooms, providing coverage to teachers during meetings, and supervising students when completing lunch and/or recess duties.
