You will be responsible for picking up and delivering finished dishes efficiently and accurately. This includes checking that all outgoing food meets presentation standards, is cooked properly, and that plates are at the correct temperature. You will liaise between BOH and FOH staff, will monitor ticket times and report delays where necessary, and will work as part of a tightly knit team to guarantee guest satisfaction. Busser duties include ensuring that dining areas/tables are clean, plates and glassware are cleared in a timely fashion, and place-settings are refreshed, and tables turned over in accordance with best practices. Work Environment While performing the duties of this Job, you are frequently exposed to outside weather conditions seasonally during Spring, Summer, and Fall when our outdoor patio is open. Occasionally, you may be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the restaurant is usually moderate and can occasionally be loud. |
