Title: Summer 2026 - Automate SET Student Worker

Published Salary Range: $250 Stipend

Job Summary/Basic Function:

Lake Superior State University's School of Engineering and Technology (SET) is seeking motivated student assistants to support activities at the Automate trade show in Chicago. Responsibilities include booth setup and tear down, assisting staff with demonstrations, engaging with visitors, distributing materials, and providing general event support. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a professional trade show environment and network with industry leaders in automation and robotics.

Qualifications:

  • LSSU Student currently enrolled in courses for Summer 2026 (6 Credits/3 Credits with FWS) or Fall 2026 (12 Credits/6 Credits with FWS)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Physical Demands:

Students should be comfortable standing for extended periods and assisting with light lifting and movement of booth materials during setup and teardown.
