ITW Commercial Construction North America (CCNA), a division of ITW, includes trusted brands like Buildex® (Teks®, Sammys®), Red Head (TruBolt®, Tapcon®), Ramset (Trakfast®), and PNA®, serving professional contractors since 1910. We design and manufacture innovative fastening, and concrete flatwork solutions for concrete, drywall, metal buildings, fire protection, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC applications.

We are eagerly looking for an HR Intern to join our team in summer 2027!

The HR Intern will combine their education with practical experience in core HR areas including recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, talent and development, employee engagement, and diversity & inclusion. This role will be located within ITW’s Corporate campus in Glenview, Illinois and our operations facility in Itasca, Illinois. The role would take place in the summer of 2027 from mid May until the beginning of August 2027 with approximately 40 hours per week. Expected graduation of Spring 2029.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Partner with the CCNA HR team on a variety of workplace matters (i.e. talent, employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, wellness program)
• Support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding
• Create division-wide HR communications
• Assist with the summer internship program
• Additional projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Rising junior pursing a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, economics or related field
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Leadership and teamwork capabilities required (extracurricular, academic, etc.)
• Eagerness to learn, demonstrated curiosity, and a drive to excel
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Expected graduation Winter 2028 or Spring 2029

Compensation Information:

The starting pay for this position is $22.70. Base pay within this range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant skills, experience, and education
