Job Overview

Intuit internships are 12 weeks throughout the summer. We have fixed start and end dates that are designed to work with various universities' academic calendars.

  • Cohort 1: Monday, May 17 - Friday, August 6, 2027 (12 weeks)

  • Cohort 2: Monday, June 14 - Friday September 3, 2027 (12 weeks)

About the Team

We are responsible for identifying new growth opportunities, developing strategies that accelerate the growth of our QuickBooks ecosystem, and for partnering with country/segment leaders to drive successful execution. While our business has been successful in our core markets and segments, our total addressable market worldwide is still largely untapped, and we are excited about the numerous greenfield opportunities. Our scope includes:

Our projects often mirror the work at top strategy consulting firms and investment banks, but with an emphasis on driving tangible impact in close collaboration with product and business leaders. Our team has significant exposure to senior leaders across Intuit, and takes pride in ownership of both strategy and guiding successful business execution. This mix of strategic and operational components and our ability to directly drive long-term value offers a greater sense of achievement, career growth opportunities and momentum.

  • Development of growth strategies for new offerings, customer segments, geographic markets, and business models

  • Identification and evaluation of organic and inorganic growth opportunities, as well as disruption risks

  • Optimization of investment allocation to balance short and long-term growth objectives

  • Ongoing partnership and guidance as teams test and operationalize the strategies to refine our execution approach

  • Development of our 3-year and 1-year strategic and financial plan

  • Articulation of our strategy & business trajectory for Intuit's Board of Directors and external stakeholders (e.g., investor community)

Responsibilities

We are looking for creative problem solvers with a bias for action, passion for innovation, and strong desire to drive tangible business impact. The ideal candidate is ready and able to exercise a range of classical strategy disciplines: analytical thinking, competitive / market intelligence, external benchmarking, business case development, storyboarding / narrative creation, framing, influencing, change management, and more. Part thought-partner, part influencer, and part-doer, to be successful.

Qualifications

  • Currentlyenrolled in an MBA program with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field3+ years prior work experience; prior consulting, investment banking, BizOps, or go-to-market strategy background preferred

  • Current enrollment in a degree-seeking program (associate's, bachelor''s, master''s, MBA, PhD, or the equivalent) with an expected graduation date after the internship ends

  • Familiarity with AI tools and a curiosity about how AI can be applied to solve real-world problems

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for the duration of the internship

  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment at an Intuit office location determined by your team and role (Relocation stipend will be provided)

  • Have a strong analytical orientation, creativity in problem solving, and keen business judgment

  • Be intellectually curious and have a deep desire to learn

  • Be self-motivated, driven, and able to drive projects with limited guidance

  • Be able to quickly synthesize qualitative and quantitative information, structure a concise and clear presentation of findings, and articulate recommendations to an executive audience

  • Have well-rounded interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships with senior stakeholders and collaborate across with team members across varying levels

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is: $37- $54 /hr.
