Position Summary

This summer internship position provides technical support to the Survey (SV) Group and related work required by other Departments within the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Experience to be gained in various areas including:

• Field Surveying

• Perfect for anyone who enjoys the outdoors and may be interested in making survey a career!

• Great experience also for anyone pursuing engineering.

• Computer Aided Design (CADD Technician)

• Some drafting knowledge required, but willing to train the right candidate.

• Property Research

• Great experience for anyone working towards a career related to legal support, a title examiner, real estate, insurance industry, or anything related to property assessment.

• Training provided to perform research in-person or online through the recorder of deeds office.

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Valid PA Driver's License;
• Must have fundamental working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and other applicable software programs.
• Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills and communicate effectively with people, both orally and in writing.
• Follow directions with attention to details.
• Perform tasks independently, organize information, and complete deliverables expediently.

Work is performed in office and outdoor settings. Outdoor work is required in the inspection of various project sites on uneven and rough terrain in all weather conditions. Hand-eye coordination is necessary to operate instruments, computers and various pieces of office equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is often required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 45 pounds.
