Your Job

Koch Equity Development "KED" is seeking a Summer 2028 Investment Analyst Intern in our Wichita, KS office. KED interns benefit from direct mentorship from full-time analysts and associates, while gaining real-world experience working on active deals. As an Intern, you will be responsible for assisting in the underwriting, financial modeling, and due diligence for potential investments.

Our Team

KED is the principal investment and acquisition arm of Koch, Inc., one of the largest privately held businesses in America. Since 2012, KED has deployed more than $40 billion in equity investments and acquisitions. With revenues that have exceeded $125 billion, Koch companies employ about 120,000 worldwide, with nearly half of those in the United States.

• Please note that interviews for this position will not begin until January.

What You Will Do

• Assisting in the underwriting, financial modeling, and due diligence for equity investments and acquisitions
• Preparing presentations on potential transactions and investments for senior management that identify and assess valuation, return profile, competitive advantage, risks, etc.
• Performing industry research and competitive analysis related to potential investments
• Working with KED portfolio companies to enhance profitability alongside KED's commercial excellence capability
• Participating in discussions with senior members of the KED team
• Assuming responsibility for 100% compliance with the laws, regulations, company policy, and industry standards applicable to this role

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Eligible for full-time employment no later than Summer 2029
• Enrolled in a degree or certificate program related to Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Risk Management, Investments, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

• Interest in or experience with investing
• Demonstrated leadership through academics, work experience, campus involvement, athletics, or extracurricular activities
