We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated summer intern to assist in a fast-paced, hands-on environment at our calibration lab. This temporary summer position will provide exposure to the calibration and repair of torque equipment, as well as experience in various operational functions across the company. No prior experience is required – just a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. The role will also involve supporting other departments, including shipping/receiving, product assembly, and continuous improvement projects. The ideal candidate must be capable of performing manual tasks for extended periods.
- Torque Calibration and Repairs: Assist with the calibration and basic repair of torque equipment in the calibration lab. Training will be provided to ensure proper techniques and safety procedures are followed.
- Shipping and Receiving Support: Aid in the daily operations of the shipping and receiving departments, including unloading shipments, organizing incoming inventory, and preparing outgoing orders.
- Continuous Improvement Projects: Collaborate with the team on projects designed to improve operational efficiency, safety, and quality across different departments.
- Shop and Office Organization: Help maintain and organize the shop and office areas, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
- Product Assembly and Packing: Assist in assembling and packing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality control throughout the process.
- Current college student, preferably majoring in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering.
- Available to work full time in summer.
- No previous experience required – training will be provided.
- Must be willing and capable of performing manual tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a good sense of organization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (MS Office).
