We are hiring a Construction Superintendent to support our reconstruction project managers in the field. This is a boots on the ground role for someone who knows construction, takes ownership of the jobsite, and wants steady work with a company that treats its people well.
You will be the eyes and ears of the project on site. As our project managers take on more volume, you will handle the work that keeps jobs moving and protects quality.
What You Will Do
Serve as the on site presence for active reconstruction projects, keeping the project manager informed on progress and issues
Confirm materials are on site and staged ahead of each phase of work
Verify subcontractors show up, work to scope, and complete what they were contracted to complete
Document job progress with photos and field reports
Walk work for quality control and flag anything that does not meet standard before it gets buried
Problem solve in the field when a sub proposes a different approach than what was scoped
What We Are Looking For
Background in construction, the trades, or restoration. Carpenters, framers, foremen, superintendents, and experienced water technicians are all encouraged to apply
You do not need to be an estimator or write your own scopes. You do need to recognize good work from bad, whether that is a drywall patch, a floor installation, or framing
Reliable, presentable, and comfortable representing the company in front of homeowners, adjusters, and subcontractors
Willing to travel to jobsites as assigned
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Who This Role Fits
This is a strong fit for a tradesperson who is ready to get out of the daily physical grind but wants to stay close to the work. It is also a fit for someone early in their construction management path who wants a clear runway into project management.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience
Company vehicle
Participation in the company bonus program
Company wide profit sharing paid twice per year, based on tenure and contribution
