Building and Construction Superintendent
As a Building and Construction Superintendent, you will:
- Lead daily field operations on assigned construction projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and onsite personnel
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards
- Conduct site inspections and quality control reviews
- Review plans, specifications, and project documents
- Manage material deliveries, site logistics, and workforce coordination
- Track project progress and proactively resolve field challenges
- Communicate regularly with Project Managers and stakeholders
- Maintain daily reports and construction documentation
- Oversee punch-list completion and project closeout activities

The ideal Building and Construction candidate will have:
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience
- Strong experience in commercial, residential, or mixed-use construction
- Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish
- Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors
- Strong understanding of construction methods and sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Multi-family construction experience
- Mixed-use development experience
- Experience with urban redevelopment projects
- Background managing residential communities or apartment developments
- Proficiency with construction management software and reporting tools
