Job Description
As a Building and Construction Superintendent - Buffalo, NY, you will:
- Manage all day-to-day construction site activities
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Monitor project milestones and construction progress
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards
- Conduct quality control inspections and enforce project specifications
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and site logistics
- Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Lead subcontractor meetings and jobsite coordination efforts
- Identify and resolve field-related challenges proactively
- Maintain daily reports and project documentation
- Work closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, and consultants
- Oversee punch-list completion and project closeout activities

The Successful Applicant
The successful Superintendent - Buffalo, NY candidate will have:
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience
- Proven success managing commercial, institutional, or multi-family projects
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing
- Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to maintain schedules and drive project performance
Preferred Qualifications
- Ground-up construction experience
- Renovation and occupied-space project experience
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Construction Management degree or equivalent field experience
- Experience with scheduling and construction management software
- Strong client-facing and team leadership abilities
