The Opportunity:

As a Superintendent at MKD Construction Inc., you will lead daily field operations and drive high-performance execution across heavy civil projects. You will serve as a core leader on-site, using your extensive operational knowledge to manage trades, uphold rigorous safety standards, and keep projects on schedule. In this role, your expertise directly impacts field success, quality execution, and project profitability.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Direct daily on-site field operations, labor crews, and heavy civil construction activities.
• Execute project schedules and sequence daily tasks to ensure milestone targets are met on time.
• Coordinate with field trades and Operating Engineers Local Union 03 team members to optimize workflow.
• Enforce strict job site safety standards, quality control protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Inspect ongoing field work to ensure full compliance with engineering plans and specifications.
• Address real-time field challenges and logistical obstacles to keep project momentum moving forward.
• Maintain complete daily field reports, labor tracking logs, and operational documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Successful completion of a formal Trade Program or Technical Certification.
• Completion of training or apprenticeship programs through Operating Engineers Local Union 03.
• Strong leadership experience directing field operations in heavy civil construction environments.
• Deep knowledge of heavy equipment operation, field logistics, and union labor practices.
• Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and execute complex engineering drawings and blueprints.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Hands-on field management experience specific to civil infrastructure and public work projects.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills tailored for on-site crew supervision.
