An established, employee-owned commercial construction firm with a strong reputation across the Southeast is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to support a pipeline of high-profile projects. The company delivers a diverse portfolio of commercial projects across the multifamily, senior living, healthcare, higher education, retail, light industrial, interior renovations, and ground-up construction sectors, providing long-term project opportunities throughout the region.
Job Description
- Lead all onsite construction activities from preconstruction through turnover
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain project schedules
- Enforce safety standards and promote a strong safety culture
- Manage project quality control and ensure work meets contract requirements
- Collaborate with Project Managers to address schedule, budget, and coordination challenges
- Conduct site meetings and communicate progress with stakeholders
- Support successful project delivery while maintaining client satisfaction

The Successful Applicant
A successful Superintendent should have:
- Proven experience leading commercial construction projects valued at $50M+
- Experience with Senior Living, Multifamily, Student Housing, Hospitality, or similar residential-style developments
- Strong background managing ground-up construction projects
- Stable work history demonstrating career progression with reputable contractors
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability and desire to travel throughout the Southeast region
- Proficiency with construction management technology and project scheduling tools
