Commercial Superintendent – K-12 & Municipal Construction

 

A respected and growing commercial construction organization is seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven field leader with a diverse commercial construction background who can take ownership of projects and help deliver exceptional results.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience, with experience on K-12, municipal, public-sector, or similarly complex commercial projects strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily field operations from project start through completion and turnover.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and project stakeholders.
  • Manage project schedules, site logistics, quality control, and safety.
  • Review plans, specifications, and project documents.
  • Conduct jobsite meetings, inspections, and progress reviews.
  • Identify and resolve field issues proactively.
  • Maintain project documentation and communicate progress to project leadership.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to established quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience.
  • Experience with K-12, municipal, government, education, or public-sector projects preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction means and methods.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
